School has been tough work for this mama! How are you all doing? We're getting in our groove now, I think. Or it seems to be going a bit smoother at least. The twins are in first grade. While their teacher assigns their work, I have to be there to make sure they get it done. Definitely more hands on than my 3rd grader who does his work on an iPad.

Needless to say, with how exhausting it all is, I totally feel like some chocolate is a must. A mom needs some normalcy and a pick me up too! I love these @fiberone Brownies! They're like a total cheat. You get the yum factor and don't need to feel guilty doing it. I call that a win! 🤤

Senior year is nothing like we expected this year for this girl. My heart breaks for Olivia as she misses out on so much of this special time of year. Prom, graduation, senior party and so much more... But you know what? She is doing so well with the situation that was thrown at her. She's accepted it and is moving forward. So proud of her! .

She has big plans for next year as she ventures more into college to get a degree as a dental hygienist. And luckily she isn't going far to do so just yet. I get to keep her for another year. 😉 I am so proud of the beautiful woman she has become. 🥰 Congratulations, Olivia! .

Clearly the cats are helping so much as we are packing and moving. Lee took our bed apart today so he can get it set up in the new house. But we still have our mattress here for 2 more nights, which is standing up right now. They are pretty much loving life! .

Lazy cats... I wonder what they'll think about the new house... 😹😻 But it's all coming along. I think we're ready for it to be over with. We'll have the Uhaul on Friday, and the internet will be moved over then, so basically we have 2 more nights in this house. And so much more to do. Eek! I'm filming all I can during the process! .

I honestly have no idea how homeschool mama's do it. It is tough work! Today I decided to get creative and bring school outside. It's such a beautiful day!

I can't say it made my day easier at all. The boys just want to have a million recesses and no school work. I can't say I blame them! 😂🤣😂 What ways have you gotten creative with getting your kids to do school work? I am open to any ideas! 😉 .

I posted a video yesterday! Yes, I'm proud of myself. So glad I'm finally feeling better. Being sick with a respiratory illness during a time of a pandemic from a respiratory illness was totally scary. I still never got any answers. But I'm pretty positive I had covid-19. Everything else came back negative and my testing for it wasn't done right I think. But I'm no doctor so who knows?! Either way, I feel so much better. Just in time for this unexpected move.

I'm not thrilled about this move. We totally thought we would be in the house we're in now until we were ready to buy. But stuff happens and we were lucky this house became available when it did. It's smaller with one less room. Which I hate! But we are going to make the most of it. It is a beautiful home! The owners fixed it up, repainted, and got it all ready for us. And the kitchen is beautiful!

I hope everyone had an amazing Easter! Ours was pretty great! We got all dressed up and did some Easter egg hunting. Lee, Kaleb and Olivia hid the eggs and the three boys found them. Then we played egg wars and other fun games. Family time is the best! Especially when all of us are together. 🥰

I almost feel back to my normal self today! Oh my gosh I am so relieved! I still have chest pressure and a cough and walking up and down the stairs still takes some of my breath away, but I am finally starting to feel better! I am so relieved!
It's crazy that I never got answers on what was wrong with me as my covid-19 test and 16 other viruses came back negative. And everything I had was the same symptoms as covid-19. So who the heck knows?! Some of my nurse friends told me they would test someone with my same symptoms and it would come back negative, then 2 days later they would test again and it was positive. I wasn't able to get a 2nd test since it took 10 days to even get my results in the first place and here in Oregon, I was lucky enough that my doctor wanted to test me. They aren't testing hardly anyone. I do plan on getting that test that checks for antibodies when it comes out because we really would like to know for sure what it was.

Regardless, my mystery symptoms are finally getting better after 3 weeks of basically laying in the bed. Finally! I did start taking antibiotics 4 days ago so maybe it really was something bacterial that could have been taken care of that first week. Who knows!
I'm just ready to get back to cleaning and filming. I have lost out on so much time because I wasn't able to film and it is so disappointing. Thank you all for sticking around with me as I've been so quiet. Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers. I will get a video up and be in my stories more very soon. Love you all! Also, just in time for our move... Eek! 😬 .
